Your request will be routed immediately for consideration, and additional follow up from ODOT staff should follow regarding if any footage is available, and how to obtain it if so.The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) today unveiled a new feature for Wisconsin’s 511 travel information system.Please do provide accurate information regarding the county, location, and any other details relevant to the request. Please share the URL of the camera location AND the specific range of time (DATE AND TIME - In this example, the Interstate 70 at State Street location in Zanesville was selected, and the Copy URL feature determined the address to be: Use the provided link to all cameras, zoom and pan to to the area of your interest, click on the purple camera icon to open the camera feed in question, then use the "Copy URL" feature in the top right of the menu bar area to capture the camera's full address. Visit OHGO to determine if the location you are interest in has an ODOT-controlled camera. Having the specific address for the location of interest is very helpful in narrowing down the scope of the request!.Even within that 72-hour window, there is no guarantee that the equipment was positioned in such a way as to have recorded any specific crashes or other incidents, and/or that the resolution and accuracy of the recording will be sufficient to distinguish vehicle makes/models and/or license details. ![]() Occasionally, some limited footage for some situations and locations is archived for longer than that 72-hour window, but there are no guarantees beyond that 72-hour window. Keep in mind that it is unlikely that we will have any footage older than three days from the time of the request.When making a request for recorded material, please: There is no guarantee that the equipment was positioned in such a way as to have recorded any crashes or other incidents, and/or that the resolution and accuracy of the recording will be sufficient to distinguish vehicle makes/models and/or license details. We honor requests to supply recorded footage to the best of our ability, and provide an electronic copy, free of charge, if and when a recording at a specific location is available. ODOT operated locations usually have the Green ODOT Zephyr in the upper right hand corner of the camera view in OHGO. ![]() Cameras in several urban areas, including in Columbus, are operated by the local municipality, and no recorded footage is available for some locations. ODOT's Traffic Management Center (TMC) generally only keeps a 72-hour (three day) buffer of video recordings from our camera feeds for locations which we directly control.
